Overview of Toobit
Toobit is a centralised cryptocurrency exchange launched in October 2022. Its current platform combines cryptocurrency Spot trading with USDT-M and USDC-M perpetual Futures, Copy Trading, trading bots, Convert, Earn products, Event Contracts, and DEX+ access. Toobit has also expanded into TradFi-linked perpetual products covering markets such as precious metals, stocks, and indices. These TradFi products are derivatives and should not be described as direct ownership of the underlying shares, metals or indices. Toobit's current About page states that the platform provides more than 1,000 trading pairs.
Toobit's current fee schedule separates standard Spot markets, Assessment Zone markets, and Futures. Standard Spot is presently listed at 0% maker and 0% taker across VIP tiers. Assessment Zone Spot pairs remain fee-bearing, starting at 0.0750% maker and 0.1000% taker at VIP 0. Perpetual Futures start at 0.0200% maker and 0.0600% taker at VIP 0, with lower rates at higher VIP levels. The exchange can also run pair-specific or temporary promotions, so the live rate shown for the relevant market remains the final trading cost.
Futures leverage is product-dependent. Toobit currently states that eligible crypto Futures can offer up to 200x leverage, while its XAUUSDT gold perpetual can reach 500x for the smallest notional tier. Many contracts have substantially lower limits, and leverage can decrease as position size increases.
Identity verification is tiered rather than compulsory for all ordinary trading. Toobit's September 2026 KYC guidance states that users can currently deposit crypto and trade Spot and Futures without completing KYC. Verification becomes necessary for certain services and higher account privileges, including fiat purchases and increased withdrawal limits. Toobit provides Basic and Advanced verification levels.
The platform supports web trading, official iOS and Android applications, Futures Demo Trading, and APIs for Spot, Futures, and Copy Trading. Its trading interface also includes technical indicators and native TradingView integration.
Toobit publishes Proof of Reserves using Merkle-tree verification and states that audits are conducted regularly. Its current Proof of Reserves page shows reserves above 100% for the principal assets displayed. Proof of Reserves is a transparency mechanism; it is not government-backed deposit insurance and does not guarantee recovery from every type of loss.
